In this picture, I was trying to capture the tree in the background, while also showing the soccer ball.
In this second picture, I was trying to capture more of the soccer ball rather than the background. The ball is clearer to see.
Motion
I captured a shot of my cousin dribbling a basketball. In this photograph I was able to freeze the motion of the ball.
In this second shot, I was able to capture the basketball in motion. You can tell I did so by looking at the ball and noticing that it is somewhat blurry.
Cropping a Picture
I took a full shot of this statue. You are able to see the statue from top to bottom and it's surroundings.
Depth of Field
I took a picture of a sidewalk that is lined by trees. This picture shows the depth of the sidewalk and how far it goes, along with it's shape.
Framing a Picture
This is a picture of the redbrick building at Saint Joe's. The pathway and line of tress on both side are framing the doorway.
Balancing Elements
I cropped the picture of the statue so that you are able to see the faces more clearly and close up. You can no longer see the statue's surroundings, but only a brick wall.
In this picture, there are two flower pots on each side of the step that are equally spread out. I am able to demonstrate that there is a line of symmetry and that the photo is balanced.
In this second shot, the photo is somewhat slanted and there is only one flower pot. This shows that there is no longer a line of symmetry and it is unbalanced.
